We are continuing this growth by hiring additional Business Development roles to own the front-end conversations on introducing Property Meld to those who don’t know us. The number one question this team focuses on is how we get people who need a product like ours to consider us for their solution?
Our Business Development Representatives are responsible for conducting consultative conversations that uncover our customer’s challenges and create intentional awareness in their own maintenance processes.
The Impact of the Job and Work
To its core, the Business Development Representative’s job is all about increasing awareness and interest in Property Meld’s product through outbound contact and conversation. While there are aspects of cold-calling and drip email campaigns that are important, this role is so much more than that. This position is responsible for bringing Property Meld’s personality and obsession to solve the problem to every contact.
This is a role for someone who has the grit to pick up the phone and start a conversation. Someone who has a mix of high energy, and a practically balanced pitch of what’s in it for the customer. Someone who is experienced in the number’s game that sales is, and someone who can see the value of high effort high reward situations.
A successful Business Development Representative is an agile and fast learner that implements feedback quickly, has strong communication skills, and a determination to be successful.

Here’s What You Can Earn
The starting salary for this position is on- target earnings of $42,000-$57,000 annually with a combination of base + commission structure. There is no cap to your earning potential.
